I assume they have now done a deal with Yamaha to use the NS10 name and so on. I agree though that the translations for different environments was available before but they cut it back due to copyright issues. They tried a while back to launch a mobile app which would translate sound at the consumer end and I think the idea is to have SoundID as the branding for the studio software and the mobile app. Having used Sonarworks for years, I think what they are doing is having another crack at an end to end solution.
